Seoul's subway is modern and mostly accessible with elevators, though older stations can require navigating stairs. Dedicated stroller lanes exist on many pavements and major attractions like Gyeongbokgung Palace have smooth paths.

🍽️Food & Eating

Korean food can be spicy so ordering for toddlers requires care — mild options like bibimbap without gochujang, steamed dumplings (mandu), and rice dishes work well. High chairs are common in family restaurants but less so in traditional Korean eateries.

🛡️Safety

Extremely safe — Seoul consistently ranks among Asia's safest cities with very low violent crime. The main challenge is the cold winter (December to February) which is genuinely difficult for very young children.

Samsung Medical Center and Asan Medical Center are world-class facilities with international patient services in English. Severance Hospital's International Health Care Center is the go-to for expatriate families needing paediatric care.
