🚼Stroller

Dublin city centre is mostly flat and very stroller-friendly. St. Stephen's Green, Phoenix Park, and the Docklands area are great for long stroller walks. The Luas trams have dedicated spaces; DART trains are accessible. Georgian footpaths can be uneven in older residential areas.

🍽️Food & Eating

Ireland's relaxed pub culture has evolved to be very family-friendly — many pubs have dedicated family dining areas that welcome children until 9pm. Traditional Irish stew, fish and chips, and full Irish breakfasts are reliable toddler favourites.

🛡️Safety

Very safe city. Low crime by European capital standards. Unpredictable weather means always packing a raincover for the stroller — Dublin can cycle through sun, cloud, and rain within an hour. Phoenix Park is expansive enough to lose track of young walkers.

🏥Hospitals

Children's Health Ireland at Crumlin (CHI Crumlin) and CHI at Temple Street are two world-class dedicated children's hospitals in Dublin. Both have excellent emergency departments. The Beacon Hospital and Blackrock Health have private English-speaking paediatric services.
